Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Liga Deportiva Alajuelense: Analysis, Reaction and More

Bruce Arena’s Los Angeles Galaxy find themselves in a must-win situation on Wednesday night when they take on Liga Deportiva Alajuelense in the CONCACAF Champions League in Alajuela, Costa Rica (kickoff: 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET, Fox Soccer Channel).

This marks the first match of an important two-game road swing, which includes a weekend MLS encounter with Eastern Conference leaders Columbus Crew.

Los Angeles are currently 2-1-0 (six points) and sit second in Group A of the Champions League behind Monarcas Morelia. However, La Liga are even on points with six and have their ace striker back in Jonathan McDonald.

All hands will be on deck as David Beckham battles back issues and a possible yellow card suspension alongside Landon Donovan. Juninho returns to the lineup after a red card suspension.
