GIF: Tim Cahill Scores Fastest Goal in MLS History with Emphatic Volley

Seven seconds.

That's how long it took Tim Cahill to score the opening goal of the New York Red Bulls' game against the Houston Dynamo on Sunday.

Taking down a long ball following the kick-off, the ex-Everton man gave goalkeeper Luis Robles no chance as he thumped home.



Seven seconds. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's a new MLS record for the fastest goal in the league's history.
