Edson Buddle’s World Cup Audition Continues Against Houston

Houston, you have a problem.

And Bob Bradley—heh—you have yourself a blessing...a big blessing, and as a disguise he wears the #14 for a team called the Los Angeles Galaxy.

You may not realize this for sure until you check out the news just in on Bleacher Report and elsewhere, but Edson Buddle could be the savior of the USA Men's National Team this year.

There's no disguising this stat for starters: Buddle has accounted for all five goals in their three victories in this young 2010 Major League Soccer season.

With Charlie Davies recovering from his injuries and Brian Ching getting dinged for a month on the sidelines, maybe it's time for Bradley to give Buddle his shot against the Czechs and Turks.

Who knows; Buddle's golden touch could make all the difference against Slovenia and Algeria, if not the bloody Brits.

That brings up another situation: what if Bradley does give Buddle his shot? And-cue the ...
