Los Angeles Galaxy Confident Ahead of Honda SuperClasico Against Chivas USA

With four games remaining in the 2010 Major League Soccer season, Bruce Arena's Los Angeles Galaxy continue their push for the MLS Supporters Shield by kicking off the month with an Oct. 3 clash with Chivas USA at the Home Depot Center.

Galaxy team captain Landon Donovan liked LA's chances of sealing the deal, as well as the Oct. 7 road trip at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., to face the Philadelphia Union.

"The goal is to win as many [games] as we can," Donovan said earlier last week. "We know this [game against Chivas] is a game we should win. Philly is a game we should win we think. Then we have some games at home to finish the season. It's very possible to win all four.

“We got a little lucky with Salt Lake tying at home [against Colorado last week]. That helped us out a little bit,” Donovan said. “Salt Lake have a difficult schedule, too,… [and] Dallas, they’re going to have keep going to get close to us.”
