Sean St Ledger Has to Clarify He Isn’t Dating Taylor Swift After Internet Rumour

Sean St Ledger played 37 times for Ireland, has represented a host of clubs in the U.K. and now in the later years of his career is on an adventure with Orlando City in the MLS. He probably never thought he'd have to explain that he isn't dating Taylor Swift. Still, that's where he found himself this week as the rumour took hold. It began after the pair were pictured at a New Year's event. It continued after an interview with Soccer Republic, when he said he is "sitting on the fence," when asked directly. That allowed the rumours—and the jokes—to spread: But eventually St Ledger shut it down:  I think the guys @SoccRepublic cut out an important part of that interview where I said that I think miss swift is seeing a certain dj! — Sean St Ledger (@seanstledger12) April 8, 2015 St Ledger was referring to Calvin Harris, who is believed to be her current partner. LA Galaxy Win Twitter When an Everton Fan Decides to Try to Troll Them

Not every club goes to the trouble of replying to all the messages they get on social media—and not all of them have a good comeback when someone tries to troll them. So, well done to the LA Galaxy. The MLS Cup holders responded when an Everton fan asked for a birthday shout-out. But when he decided to throw an insult or two, the club were up to speed. It all concluded with him wishing the club gets relegated. Which gave the account the perfect riposte: "That's literally impossible." (Screengrab contains NSFW language.)
