Head coaches are crucial in sports, but in soccer, they are very hands-on in both training sessions and games. Winners and Losers from MLS Matches from September 12-14

The only word to correctly describe the latest weekend of play in Major League Soccer is weird.  Week 27 had a little bit of everything, including a weather delay, five draws and some unusual goalscorers, who don't see much playing time.  On top of all that was news about a new twist in the Chivas USA saga, and a five-goal thriller between two of the top sides in the league.  Thanks to all of the crazy goings on this weekend, we had no problem choosing the biggest winners and losers from Week 27. Begin Slideshow

New England’s Diego Fagundez Scores Goal, Celebrates with Gunfire

We've seen a lot of creative goal celebrations over the years, but this has to be the first one to involve firing actual guns.New England Revolution midfielder Diego Fagundez scored a headed effort against Chicago, and he immediately sprinted over to the "End Zone Militia" to mark the goal in style.He then lined up an imaginary shot with the group, who carry real guns with real gunpowder (no bullets, of course) to New England sports games, and let fire.You can tell he'd been planning that one for a while.
