David Beckham and his wife Victoria, also known as Posh, were seen in Los Angeles cheering up their son, Romeo, during his game in a cold weather, according to The Daily Mail.Victoria Beckham looked quite attached to her husband, as she snuggled up to him at some point during the encounter. Although David was in a happy mood, he was clearly following his son in action with a close eye.Victoria, as always, was rather serious and appeared to have deep thoughts in her mind.Firstborn Brooklyn and baby Harper Seven were also present at the park. The four-month-old celebrity lay calmly in her pushchair, while her brother stood by his parents.David went for bright colours, wearing a white T-shirt, cream cardigan, baggy jeans and a blue woolly hat.Victoria Beckham, however, kept her usual style, contrasting her husband’s aspect in black attire. To make her look even darker, the fashion model added a pair of stylish sunglasses. The English football wag was also spotted earlier this month in the VIP stands, watching her hubby help Los Angeles Galaxy advance to the MLS Conference Cup finals. MLS Attendance at an All-Time High: Is David Beckham to Thank?

When David Beckham arrived in Hollywood just four years ago, he brought a few promises along with his Louis Vuitton luggage and his wife, Posh Spice. One was to make soccer more popular in the United States, another was to help the financial situation of Major League Soccer and his third was to bring titles to the Los Angeles Galaxy. It is no secret that the "World's Favorite Game" has seen a tremendous increase in interest throughout the entire United States and will have continued growth with the acquisitions and on-field success of high-profile players. While one can say that Beckham did not single-handedly make the MLS what it is today, one can argue that he was indeed the pioneer. Major League Soccer is now the third-most attended professional sport in the United States behind the NFL and MLB. Wait a tick—soccer is the third most attended sport per game in the United States? Of America? Seriously? According to examiner.com, MLS attendance has gone up 6.6 percent this season alone without the extensive media coverage and internet hype in other professional sports such as basketball and hockey. MLS games in 2011 averaged 17,870 fans per game in contrast to last year's ...

David Beckham Video: Watch LA Galaxy Clinch MLS Finals Berth

Whether it was David Beckham's perfect placement or Mike Magee coming up big in the clutch once again that sealed the L.A. Galaxy's MLS Finals berth is unclear—and frankly, it doesn't matter. The epic, bending pass was vintage Beckham and Magee's ability to finish and bring it all home was the perfect way for the Galaxy to punch their ticket to the finals.Real Salt Lake proved to be a formidable opponent. The L.A. Galaxy haven't been running away with victory on their journey through the MLS Cup Playoffs by any means. They edged out the New York Red Bulls with a 3-2 aggregate score and narrowly escaped Real Salt Lake.Even so, they are finding a way to win. Magee's uncanny ability to deliver in playoff scenarios has been instrumental to the team's success. Some will argue that Beckham isn't the player he once was, and those people would be correct. That being said, it's clear he's still a factor. His veteran presence makes plays like this one possible. The Galaxy came into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the West and have delivered every time they've taken the pitch. Now, they've got to square off against the Houston Dynamo, a team who ...

LA Galaxy vs. Real Salt Lake: Galaxy Look for Revenge in MLS Playoffs

LA Galaxy versus Real Salt Lake is far from just another Conference Final game.It pits the MLS’s top two defensive teams—not to mention two of the top three point-earning teams—against each other, making this an MLS Cup-worthy contest. On top of that, this match is a rematch of the 2009 MLS Cup Finals in which RSL defeated the Galaxy by way of penalty shootout. The core of the Galaxy has remained largely intact since the 2009 Final and surely they have vivid and lingering bad memories of that loss in ’09. There would be no sweeter revenge than to beat RSL in the Western Conference Finals matchup at the Home Depot Center. These two teams battled each other all year, even when they were not matched up against each other. They split their two regular season matches with each team winning at home. Although these are two of the finest defensive teams in the MLS, we should not assume that this will be a grind-it-out affair, because they combined to score a total of eight goals over their two head-to-head matchups. The Galaxy had an easier time with their semifinal home-and-home series, having beaten the New York Red Bulls twice.Salt Lake on ...

Luke Rodgers Video: Watch NY Red Bulls Star Nearly Behead Woman with Soccer Ball

In an epic act of frustration last Thursday night, New York Red Bulls forward Luke Rodgers pelted a soccer ball into the crowd, nearly caving in the face of an innocent woman. It happened in the eighth minute of New York's 2-1 loss to the L.A. Galaxy in the first round of the 2011 MLS playoffs. For some, the fact that the MLS playoffs are actually being televised by ESPN is more shocking than the clip of Rodgers' close call with the fan's face. Rodgers is from England, so naturally, he probably has a hatred for American soccer fans, like this poor woman in the front row who pulls a Neo from The Matrix at exactly the last second. She is all by herself, sadly, and if she had company, that company would be headless at the moment. The power and speed with which Rodgers struck the ball would have gotten past any World Cup goalkeeper and would have likely helped the Red Bulls to a victory Thursday night had it occurred in the field of play. Although it sounds terrible to say, a part of me wonders how much more amazing this clip would be if Rodgers actually connected with ...
